Community Garden Program

2016 Program Information

The Windham Community Garden Program is in its 3rd year of operation and has been created to be used by participants from Windham and the surrounding communities to plant flowers, fruits, and vegetables within individual gardening plots.

The Community Garden is located at 122 North Lowell Road, and has been developed through a public-private partnership with Crossing Life Church.

A special thanks goes out to local resident Julie Sheahen who took on the task of designing, building and installing a kiosk sign, tending a garden plot to benefit those that are food insecure and developing a community garden cookbook as part of her Girl Scout Gold Star Project.
