The Searles School and Chapel is available to rent for any number of events including, but certainly not limited to:

  • Weddings and Receptions
  • Baby and Bridal Showers
  • Birthday or Other Parties
  • Meetings and Conferences

Table of Rental Fees:   

  Chapel Room (left side):  
   Windham Non-Profit Groups $  25.00/hour
    (no minimum fee)
   Windham Resident Private Function $  75.00/hour
    (Minimum fee: $225.00)
   Non-resident or Commercial Function $150.00/hour, per room
    (Minimum fee: $450.00)
 

School Room (right side):

 
   Windham Non-Profit Groups $  25.00/hour
    (no minimum fee)
   Windham Resident Private Function $100.00/hour
    (Minimum fee: $300.00)
   Non-resident or Commercial Function $175.00/hour, per room
    (Minimum fee: $525.00)

Note: The Board of Selectmen reserves the right to negotiate fees for usage in excess of six (6) hours.

Table of Occupancy Limits:

Left side: “Chapel” Room 56 - 100 persons, max
Right side: “School” Room 85 - 150 persons, max

Additional Costs: While not required, the following costs may be included dependant upon the request(s) of the Renter:

  • Use of baby grand piano: $25.00

  • Use of carillons: $25.00

  • Use of organ: $25.00

Coming soon to this site: we have compiled a list of various vendors with whom we are familiar, and who are acquainted with our facility and procedures. Feel free, however, to use whomever you would like, as all contacts and contracts are between client and vendor.
