Zoning Board of Adjustment
This Page was Last Updated on May 20, 2008
The Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) meets the second and fourth Tuesday evenings of each month, with some additional days for field inspections, and deals primarily with requests for variances from the Town’s zoning regulations. Meetings, which are open to the public, generally begin at 7:30 PM, and are held in the Planning and Development Department conference room, 3 North Lowell Road (former Fire Station). Barring unforeseen complications, these meetings are also televised live on WCTV-20, Windham's local access channel.
Persons interested in meeting with the ZBA should contact the Board of Adjustment Secretary at 432-3806. Any correspondence should be directed to: Chairman, Board of Adjustment, PO Box 120, Windham, NH, 03087-0120.
Per 2003 Ballot Vote, the Board of Adjustment will evolve into a elected board commencing with the 2004 elections. Subsequent to the 2005 election, the Board will be comprised of five (5) elected members and three (3) alternate members as appointed by the Board of Adjustment.
