Mr. Borcoche called the meeting to order at 7:00pm at the library meeting room.

Review of minutes from the previous meeting. Mr. Forde moved to accept as written. Seconded by Ms. Gross. Approved unanimously.

The new phone system capabilities were outlined by Mr. DeLong.  The Choice1 T1 provides 20 phone channels.  Four POTS lines still exist for the time being, 3 in Town Offices and one in Planning Office.  The Choice1 T1 line and new PBX will save the town approximately $10-$15K over two years.  The new PBX will allow direct dial services to improve town services access.

Adelphia had a fiber break incident, affecting town internet access in certain areas.  Channels 20 through 22 have now switched to the new 2-way headend.  The old headend will be phased-out.

Town website DNS hosting services will be changed over to Choice1 in the coming months in order to have better control over the delivery of mail and web services.

The next WTAC meeting will be held at the SAU Building on February 13, 2003 and will start at 7:00pm.
