MEMBERS PRESENT:Douglass Barker, Margaret Crisler, Carolyn Webber, Galen Stearns and Christopher Doyle. David Sullivan, Town Administrator, was also present. Workshop commenced at 7:00 pm

The Board held a workshop session with the Fire and Police Station Building Committees to review the charge of the Fire Station Building Committee and discuss the proposed new Fire Station.

Mr. Sullivan drafted an amended charge for the Fire Station Building Committee now that Town Meeting approved the plan. Mr. Stearns motioned to approve the charge as amended. Ms Webber seconded. Passed unanimously.

The group discussed waiving the bid process for architectural services for the new station. Mr. Stearns motioned to waive the bid process as described above. Ms Webber seconded. Passed unanimously.

The group discussed a proposal from Landry Architects for a sum of $157,600 for the architectural services for the new station. Mr. Stearns motioned to accept the proposal from Landry Architects as described above. Ms Webber seconded. Passed unanimously.

Construction Management for the construction of the fire station was discussed. Mr. Stearns motioned to follow the Construction Management process in building the new station. Mr. Doyle seconded. Passed unanimously.

The Board next held a workshop with Fire Chief Fruchtman to discuss the Fire Department's needs and impact for new subdivisions. Chief Fruchtman will work with the Board on these issues.

The Board held its last workshop with the Town Administrator, David Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan recommended the Board make a conditional offer of employment, pending background and physical checks, for a part time custodian. Mr. Stearns motioned to authorized Mr. Sullivan to make the conditional offer as described above. Mrs. Crisler seconded. Passed unanimously.

The Board and Mr. Sullivan discussed the Board's proposed long term agenda and agreed to meet on off weeks in workshop sessions.

The workshops adjourned at approximately 11:30 pm
