HIGHWAY SAFETY MEETING

March 14, 2002

On March 14, 2002 , the Department Heads discussed the following request for highway safety improvements and made the following recommendations.

Attendance: David Sullivan, Chief Bruce Moeckel, Chief Steve Fruchtman, Don Messier, DFC, Pat Yatsevich, Eric DeLong, John Barrett, Dave Poulson, Jack McCartney, and Al Turner.

PLANNING BOARD PLANS:

None Received

HIGHWAY SAFETY ISSUES:

No Parking on Rte 111a and Rte 111 in area of Rte 93 and Corner of Rte 111 and Range Rd

Request submitted by Planning Board and Board of Selectmen.
Mr. Moeckel moved to table the request until further site developments occur in this area. The present signage in the area is adequate for the present development. However, the Committee would be open to readdressing this request at such time as additional development may occur. Mr. Barrett seconded. Passed unanimously.
