Minutes
The Chairman suggested that the approval of the April 25, 2002 minutes be postponed till the next meeting (May 23, 2002). The Members discussed the elimination of a paragraph in "Other Business". This paragraph was not part of the meeting; this discussion took place after the meeting was adjourned. Mr. Capron motioned to table the minutes till the May 23, 2002 meeting. Mr. Seniow seconded the motion. Passed unanimously.

Heritage Acres - Planning Board Plans
Subdivision Plan
39 Residential Lots

The Commission reviewed the submitted plans and had the following comments:

  • Lot #24-F-198 No 50-foot setback from WWPD
  • Due to severe terrain severe erosion controls should be instituted
  • Need to schedule a site walk with the Engineer.

Further comments will be forthcoming after the site walk.

Hadleigh Woods Estates - Planning Board Plans
Bissell Camp Road
The Members reviewed the plans but no changes had been made since the review of April 25, 2002 meeting.

Other Business
The Members discussed the Apple Festival scheduled for September 22 2002. Mrs. Fallon would like to have calendars ready to sell at the Festival.

Mrs. Fallon advised the Members of the Deer Leap clean up. Mrs. Fallon presented photographs showing signs that need repair. The Members discussed repair of damage done by ATV's scheduled for June 1, 2002. Eastern Mountain Sports will take part in the June 1, 2002 Trails Day.

  2. Apple Festival Notice and Application
  3. DES File #2002-00650 Project Reclassification for 12 Sheffield Street.
  4. Senator Judd Gregg to Margaret Crisler regarding mitigation program for the I-93 expansion project.
  5. 2002 Municipal Board Training Series.


Mr. Seniow motioned to adjourn at 9:35 PM. Mr. Capron seconded the motion. Passed unanimously.

The next meeting of the Conservation Commission will be on May 23, 2002 at 7:30 PM at the Planning & Development Office.
