The Nesmith Library Board of Trustees is currently inviting proposals from qualified individuals or companies, acting singularly or in consortium, to paint the exterior of the Nesmith Library.
Proposals are due by Tuesday, May 9 at 2:00 pm, and will be opened by the Nesmith Library Board of Trustees at the regularly scheduled meeting that evening at 7 pm.
The Town of Windham is currently inviting bids from qualified individuals or companies, acting singularly or in consortium, for the installation of new HVAC system at the Windham Town Hall located at 3 N. Lowell Road, Windham, NH 03087.
Specifications may be obtained at the Administrative Offices, 4 North Lowell Road, Windham, NH or online at windhamnh.gov. Bids are due no later than 2:00 PM on May 4, 2017 and will be awarded by the Board of Selectmen at a regularly scheduled meeting to be posted. Bidders may have a representative present at said Board of Selectmen’s meeting.
The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to award bids in whole or in part, waive technicalities or informalities, and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
At the 2014 Town Meeting, the residents of Windham voted to approve the purchase of Campbell Farm at 137 Kendall Pond Road (Lot 1-C-100) in Windham, NH. This 64 acre historic farmstead is 40% open fields and 60% wooded land with an 1868 farmhouse. The Windham Conservation Commission is now seeking a residential curator to live in, and be responsible for the rehabilitation and maintenance of the Campbell Farmhouse in return for a long-term lease. The curator will be selected through an open and competitive process, with a proposed use compatible with the historic and natural character of the property.

The Town of Windham is currently seeking quotes for a vehicle replacement; specifically a one ton dump truck for the Highway Department equipped with four wheel drive, a 9’ dump body and a 9’ Fisher power angle plow. The Town currently has a 2008 F-450 and is seeking both an outright purchase price for the new truck, as well as an alternative price with a trade-in value for the current vehicle towards the replacement.
