PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

In accordance with RSA 32:5, the Board of Selectmen will hold a Public Hearing on the proposed Special Town Meeting Budget and Warrant on Friday, July 18, 2008 at 5:00 pm at the Planning and Development Department. The proposed budget is as follows:

Article 1 - $1,250,000 for the purpose of engineering and constructing a new Town road over the general area of the former Londonbridge Road.

MEETING NOTICE

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Selectmen will take place on Monday July 21st beginning at 6:00 PM with a site walk for the proposed London Bridge Road layout. The meeting will then continue at the Planning and Development Department at 7:00 PM. You may view the agenda here.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE 

Notice is hereby given that the Windham Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on July 21, 2008 to consider a petitioned request under the provisions of RSA 231:8 to layout a Class V public highway over parcels of land proceeding South from the area near the end of the new access road to the Windham High School, a portion of which passes over the line of the previously discontinued road known as London Bridge Road, to a point where it meets with the existing Class V portion of London Bridge Road and then continuing South to its intersection with Castle Hill Road, much of this portion of the layout passing over the current Class V section. The Board will begin the hearing at 6:00 pm at the end of the present access to the High School for the purpose of conducting a site walk of the area being considered for layout, and then will recess the meeting and reconvene at the Windham Planning and Development Department immediately following that same evening to hear public input on said petition. The hearing is being held in accordance with RSA 231:22-a (V) and RSA 231:8.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

In accordance with RSA 33:8-a, the Board of Selectmen will hold a Public Hearing on a proposed bond issue in the amount of $1,250,000 for the purpose of engineering and constructing a new Town road over the general area of the former Londonbridge Road, on Monday, July 28, 2008 at 8:45 pm at the Planning and Development Department.

PUBLIC NOTICE

CALL FOR SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

The Board of Selectmen, at their meeting on June 9, 2008, voted to petition the superior court for permission to hold a Special Town Meeting later this summer for the purpose of requesting an appropriation to fund the construction of a new road way beginning at the end of the High School access road and continuing in a southerly direction to its intersection with Castlehill Road. In addition the Board intends to include an independent article relative to a pending issue concerning conservation land if necessary. The filing of the petition to the superior court will be submitted no sooner than ten (10) days from this notice in accordance with RSA 31:5 IV.
