The
Planning Board meets the first and third Wednesdays of each month, with
some additional evenings for workshops and/or site walks. The Board deals
primarily with site plan and subdivision reviews for adherence to local
and state requirements. Regular meetings, which are open to the public,
generally begin at 7:30 PM and are held in the Planning and Development
Department conference, 3 North Lowell Road (former Fire Station). Barring
unforeseen complications, these meetings are also televised live on WCTV-20, Windham's local access channel. Persons
interested in meeting with the Board should contact the Planning Board
Secretary at (603) 432-3806. Any correspondence should be directed to: Chairman,
Planning Board, PO Box 120, Windham, NH, 03087. Membership of
the Board is
comprised of six (6) elected regular members, and three (3) alternate
members appointed by the Planning Board. Also participating is a member of
the Board of Selectmen, appointed annually, who is empowered with regular
voting abilities. An
archive of

A partial representation of Windham's trails is also available. These
maps were created by Tim Schreiner, digital data collector and
cartographer, Wayne Morris, Planning Board member and analog data
collector, and Ross McLeod, also a Planning Board member and former member
of the Conservation Commission. The Trails Committee is officially a
sub-committee of the Planning Board, and the results of their efforts can
be seen
